Shawerma / Falafil Tips (1)

Shawerma / Falafil: National Dish-3: Lebanese delicacy

this is the take-away bite of every resident in saudia. you leave work afternoonish for a quick shawerma lunch. you pass by in the evening for shawerma supper. you feel hungry midnight, you grab another shawerma. and goondess! it costs not a pence! The two popular flavours are chicken or beef. Usually served in white wrapped-bread, with tomato, chips (potato), pickles, tahina sauce, cucumber and here we go. The average crashing price is SR2-3 per sandwich and that what makes it popular and handy.
Best places to get those shawerma sandwiches are: Joha on Heraa St (they've got many branches), and Radhi Hilal on al-Sudairy St.

Favorite Dish my always favourite is chicken of course, but sometimes i favour beef if it's served in a different kind of bread.

Things to do

Old City

Beit Matbouli is one of the few traditional houses in Old Jeddah (al Balad) open to the public. It was recently converted into a 'museum' but it is not quite so. I walked into it in Oct 2015 and it...
