If you cruise past the Abu Dhabi Corniche up to the breakwater area going to the Marina and the Heritage Village, you would see a large mall with an adjacent tower beside it, fronting a park and that mall is the Marina Mall, which is the largest mall in Abu Dhabi. If you are doing an Abu Dhabi Day tour from Dubai, then you will be past this mall unless you are in a private tour where you can ask your driver to make a stop here so that you could get around for a whistle stop and look around. The Marina Mall features a 100 metre high viewing platform, an ice rink, a bowling alley, a Cineplex, musical fountains and hundreds of big name brands and stores, many restaurants and coffee shops and the Marina Mall Tower, where you can see panoramic views of Abu Dhabi City and it's neary islands.

Abu Dhabi's second luxury shopping centre is located on a small island off the Khalidiya area in Abu Dhabi. It is a grand shopping centre with numerous high-end shops, cafés and a cinema, and has become a big meeting place for locals and expats. An indoor ski slope, much like Dubai's was being built at the back of the mall (I'm not sure if it has been completed). A tall observation tower, Marina Tower, behind the Mall offers panoramic views over the city and the Gulf.
We photographed it and we queued outside for a taxi. What we did not really have time to do was actually going inside. The mall has around 400 shops,48 cafes/restaurants, cinemas and bowling.
Marina Mall Tower is nearly close into its completion. The tower is part of the multi million project of Marina Mall. Here, you will have a bird's eye view of the city.
