Closure of Dubai Zoo

Dubai Zoo, a once popular attraction, closed its doors permanently on November 17, 2018.

Founded in 1967, the zoo was established by the late Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, showcasing over 200 species, including endangered animals. Its historical significance lies in being one of the first zoos in the Middle East, contributing to wildlife education and conservation.
