The Military Museums, formerly known as the Museum of the Regiments, officially opened on June 30, 1990. This institution serves as a significant educational facility that represents the Canadian Forces.
Housed in an expanded facility of 104,000 sq ft, it is the second-largest military museum in Canada. The museum includes eight distinct museums, such as the Naval Museum of Alberta and the Air Force Museum of Alberta, showcasing artifacts from conflicts ranging from the 1885 Northwest Rebellion to operations in Afghanistan.
