Stanley Park First Nations Interpretive Walking Tour
"This unique 90-minute ""Talking Trees"" walking tour starts in late morning or afternoon and takes place in Stanley Park the heart of Vancouver. Your guide will be waiting for your arrival. Along the way your guide will share via aboriginal  protocol the background and history of Stanley Park. Learn about the history of Coast Salish First Nations people from time and immemorial up to the shared history with the first settlers of this area. Each guide is an ambassador from a First Nations trib as it is considered respectful to share who you are. Your guide will then bring you to the base of the trail where you will enjoy your interpretive tour of the forest as you walk around Beaver Lake. Altogether the walk is just under 2km and it is recommended you bring comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
