Relaxation & leisure Tips (2)

Lotus Land

Vancouver is sometimes nicknamed, 'Lotus Land' which usually refers to it being laid back. Remember that dining out, relaxing and enjoying the outdoors are some of the main priorities of the locals. Don't come here expecting amazing nightlife onpar with New York or London, and don't expect a HUGE city center with a super fast-paced environment. Enjoy Vancouver for what it is - a great place to relax and enjoy the food and scenery!

While here, try to embrace the West Coast, laid back attitude! Wear sandals. Wear khakis. Carry a backpack. Get a designer coffee. Try sushi or any other food that involves chopsticks. Wear the following 3 iteam at the same time: shorts, a Gortex jacket, hiking boots. Ditch the umbrella. Enjoy a glass of Chardonay at a fancy hotel bar. Ride a bike around the seawall...better yet, rollerblade or run! Don't just sit around and think about things--do them!! Whatever you want to do....just enjoy!!!
