Pluto's Tips (2)

Pluto's....: Great Eggs Benny and a West Coast Version...

We hit this place on the last morning that we were in Victoria....the space is open and bright...seemed to be a garage maybe in its past life...

We were there during the week and after the Summer holiday season was wrapping up or pretty much done so there were not too many other tables needing service...so...service was prompt and we were all served coffees and or water and had menus within five minutes of our arrival...The waitress was friendly and not at all shy...she managed the crew quite well...

The menu is quite varied and its possible to order anything you might like....salads,soups,chowders, quesadillas, spring rolls, burgers, shrimp wraps...etc etc...

Favorite Dish Three of us had Eggs Benedict and came hot and the eggs cooked properly...the hollandaise was good and the side dishes were quite tasty...One of us enjoyed a West Coast Benny....essentially instead of a ham as the base...it was served on smoked salmon...and instead of using a English Muffin for a base all of the Benny's were served on top of a sliced Mon Royal Bagel...from the Mount Royal Bagel bakery up the street...

I think the bill was about $ 45.00 for the three if us...so it was priced about average...everyone enjoyed theyre meals....and sooner or later I wouldn't hesitate to go back again...

PLUTO'S: Great Pasta and Vegetarian Meals

This restaurant is an unusual one in that it is located in a converted gas station.
However it looks anything BUT a gas station!...on the inside, that is!!

The inside is painted to look very celestial with dark blue walls and artists' paintings of planets and stars everywhere! I love this place!!

There is an outside eating area with little tables and chairs, but I wouldn't recommend sitting there unless you enjoy car exhaust fumes with your meal!!!

Stay indoors, you'll enjoy it MUCH MORE!!!

Favorite Dish My favourite meals (so far) have been the pasta dishes.

However, Pluto's is also known for it's Vegetarian meals too!
Meals such as Nut Burgers (made with eggs), stir-fries with tofu, soup, veggie chili, burritos, quesadilas, salads, and a variety of Mexican dishes.
