I came across this shop a few weeks ago. It has lots of fun cards, gift wrap and kitchy little gift items that I haven't seen elsewhere. The sign gives you a good idea of how far out it is.

China Town has its own atmosphere. If you walk around suddenly the streetsigns are bi-langual and the houses and shops looks different. Fresh food.
