"After hotel pickup in either Xpujil or Campeche you'll drive for approximately two hours entering the Biosphere Reserve where the ancient Mayan capital of Calakmul lies. The road will show you amazing scenery with a chance to spot flora and fauna endemic to the region. You'll travel the roads of this ancient Maya city and learn from your guide all about one of the largest you can spot amazing wildlife such as monkey and toucans and then visit the Natural History and Archeology Museum. Here a tour guide will introduce you to the region’s nature and archeology. Once done with the museum visit you'll enter the archeological site and walk through the paths for approximately four hours while a guide tells you all about the meanings and uses of the buildings
