I loved this excursion. They took us on an airconditioned bus up to a Ranch. When we got there they gave us some breakfast and let us get ready to go. Then they tought you what to do with the horses and then paired you up with one. We then went on a 3 hour hourse back ride through the jungle and went to a waterfall for 45 minutes, then we took the horses back and ate lunch. There food was really good and the tour guide really helped you figure out things with the locals. For example the tequila, and which one was a good one to take home.
Even if you don't like horses this is really fun and the views are great. I personally don't like horses but it was just such a great experience, we took a tour with a guide through these different paths in the jungle. We walked through a former president's old run down house. And then walked along the beach. The water was great and very clean here because no hotels were on these beaches. The horses weren't too big and there are guides if you need help.
