Use the bathroom at the Bookstore

If you are visiting the Grand Canyon at the South Rim, make sure to bring your children to the bathroom first before you head to the lookout. There are no bathrooms anywhere and the distance between the view park to the bookstore is abut 8-15 minutes walk.

After parking, head to the bookstore to empty your bladders!

Unique Suggestions: Make sure to go to the bathroom first.

I hated the donkeys. I don't mean I hate donkeys, but taking people on donkey rides to the river is unpleasant in so many ways. As you walk along, on trails soaked in donkey urine, you have to make way for the packs of people too lazy to walk. The pack kicks up dust which fills your already dry throat, and the whole experience fills you with murderous intent!

Well, I'm not sure this can be considered a tourist trap, but sending mail out from the Grand Canyon is truely an experience. Be prepared for no parking and lots of lines!!
