Chino Restaurants

  • Joey's BBQ: Great food as always but getting more...

by JuewelsO Written Jul 31, 2015

I've been going to this original, family owned BBQ restaurant since I was a kid (over 20 yrs). It was one of the first BBQ places in the inland valley area and only one in Chino. Their BBQ beef ribs are great. Plus their other meats.

Unfortunately, over the last 5 years their prices have gotten way too expensive. We still go there, but not as often. Plus, their competition is nice to try out too, every once in a while. If you are looking for a small town, hole in the wall BBQ restaurant, this is the place...but no longer with hometown prices.

It's located in a small house and the back yard has a waiting area with live entertainment in the evenings.

The Avocado House: Breakfast & Lunch!

by GracesTrips Written Apr 16, 2014

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

This place is always packed! You would think there is no where else to eat except here. But, it is worth it. The food is really good! If you can stand the lines, you will not regret it. They do not take reservations. Dining is inside and out.

Roscoe's: Many, many Burgers & Sandwiches!

My daughter recently moved to Chino Hills. Since she has had a baby, our first grandchild, we visit often. Part of the visit seems to always involve food and we are starting to find some great places to eat. Roscoe's Deli has an amazing menu! And, if there is something not on the menu you want, you can create it! It appears to be a dine -in type of restaurant but you can order to go.

They give you plenty. The last time we went we ordered 1 meal and did a $2 fee plate split. They give you an extra side. Well worth it!
