Fairfield Things to Do

  • Scandia Family Fun Center

The hubby and I were tired from several days of wine tasting and gourmet restaurants so we decided to look for some good old fashioned mini golf. Scandia fit the bill! This isn't the nicest place ever, but it was a fun and cheap diversion on a nice California evening. It's a very inexpensive way to get some fresh air and spend a little time...

Stayed in Fairfield, only 19 miles to Napa, and it has the Jelly Belly Candy Company in town, so went to see the factory. WOW!!! Little did I know how much I would enjoy touring a candy factory and in of all places, Fairfield, California. First, let me inform...

You get to visit the beechwood aging cellar and the production floor,...

Fairfield is fortunate in having retained its old courthouse and county buildings, in a nice complex downtown with new government facilities in an attractive new building next to the old ones. The whole area is interesting and quite grand.

The best place in Fairfield to eat is at Marie Calenders!! It has awesome food and great service!
The price is reasonable for a sit down place and the atmosphere is very home oriented. They have wonderful staff and if you go around holidays, they have special things in the store.

Favorite Dish: I love the teryaki chicken that they have. It is the best ever

Favorite thing: YOu should go to the Jelly BElly Factory!! It is totally awesome and they give great free tours of the place. You can also see all the pictures that were made out of Jelly Bellys

Fondest memory: My best memory in Fairfield is going to going to Laurel Creek PArk and flying kites and having picnics! It's a great way to relax.
