Long Beach Outdoor Antique Market: One persons trash is another persons treasure

    by jenn_d Updated Jan 20, 2003

    3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Every 3rd Sunday of the month vendors come from all over the state to sell everything from vintage furniture and posters to Civil War weapons. You never know what you are going to find here.

What to buy: I have found several pieces of inexpensive and unique retro jewelry. I once stumbled on an autographed copy of a Jane Goodall book(my ultimate heroine).

What to pay: Many items do not have prices on them...make an offer. Most dealers expect to negotiate

    Address: Veterans Memorial Stadium

Directions: Corner of Conant and Clark. Just off of Lakewood Blvd near the Boeing plant.

    Queen Mary Showcases: Artwork

I loved looking in the showcases on the Queen Mary. The shop didn't seem to be open that sold these but I had fun looking.
I especially liked the happy Buddha pieces.
