Located in the heart of Waterfront, Shoreline Village, Shoreline Park, The Pike, Aquarium of the Pacific and many other downtown activity is the Long Beach Convention Center. It is here where lots of tradeshows are held that consist of 400,000 square feet and 34 meeting rooms. The glass concourse of the Convention Center faces Pine Ave promenade and it is here is the main entrance for Exhibit Hall. The promenade connects to the Hyatt Hotel and to the walkway overpass to the waterfront. It is also where public parking is available for those who need a close place to park. You should see this place at night because it lights up beautifully.
Many corporate types are seen here going to computer and other business conventions but vacationing tourists can also feel welcomed here. There are various events held here, including concerts , Ice Dog hockey games and sporting expos. Shutterbugs can take great pictures outside of the building. The convention is elevated, so there are some lovely views to capture, including the latest shopping and entertainment center, The Pike as well as Shoreline Village.
