Just checked aout a few of the stores, and was amazed to find a SALE going on a Tommy Hillfiger. Was cheaper than I could've bought at home! And on Rodeo Dr!!! Don't be afraid everything will be too expensive....you just never know!!
Go to Beverly Hills. There are brand name stores all along Wilshire and Rodeo Drive. They even made this European village. Just a warning: don't be upset if the store clerks ignore you, it's part of their job description. It is fun, though, driving around the town to check out the size of the mansions. I wonder if the residents call it house or mansion? And where is Monica Lewinsky's home?
You must go see Rodeo Drive. It is a world of its own. On a different note, go hiking in the Santa Monca mountains
It is a good two hour hike where at the top you have fabulous views of the city and the ocean
Beverley Hills 90210 otherwise known as the Rodeo Drive area. It is amazing. I didn't have much time in Los Angeles but when I stayed in beverley hills I managed to have a wander around Rodeo Drive before I had to leave early in the morning and it is a definate must-see. The shops that you can expect to see there are all of the famous designer ones such as Gucci, Valentino, Tiffany & Co, Prada....Being a fan of the series Beverly Hills 90210 as a child I had to see it for myself and it was just how I imagined; clean, smart and cosmopolitan.
If you are a designer maniac, then you can literally find all of the top designer shops in 90210
The Rodeo Drive is where the rich and famous shop for luxury brand goods. Most shops are open by appointments only. A nice window shopping for those less privileged.
Shop until your eyes fall out, or your wallet goes empty. Don't count on seeing somebody famous, but if you're lucky, you'll see something who thinks he/she's famous.
