With Frisco's central location in Summit County it is fairly easy to get to and from by public transport. The Bus Transit Station is located just out of town and services the local Summit Stage free bus service as well as the Colorado Mountain Express.
The Summit Stage buses run 7 days a week and allow access to all of the main ski areas and local towns. During the winter the buses are equipped with ski racks and during the summer with bike racks. First website (and phone) has details of routes and timetables.
The Colorado Mountain Express provides minibus services to and from the local airports of Denver and Eagle County and getting the point-to-point service from here is considerably cheaper than getting your ride from your resort. 2nd website has all the details and a booking engine.
Useful to know is that the Transit Station has a heated waiting room!

If you are like most people, you will have a car and therefore can drive yourself up to (or back from) the mountain resorts. However, if you find yourself in the situation where you either do not need a car once you arrive, or do not have access to one, you can still arrive to Vail, Frisco, Dillon, Snowmass... just about anywhere in between.
Prices range from $40 to $400 depending on if you go in the common shuttle bus or if you charter your own ride for a group.
Pick ups are about every hour. You can book and check rates/times on the internet.
