The Bunnery Cafe Tips (2)

The Bunnery Cafe - Old Town

According to a local we met, the Bunnery is the best place for a quick, solid breakfast in the Old Town area. We took his advice and ventured down the street for a late morning breakfast. When we arrived there was a short line that gave us time to scan the menu and decide on our breakfast sandwiches ($4.75 each). Bacon, egg, and cheddar on a bagel for me and ham, egg, and Swiss on a bagel for dad. We paid, then made our way down the counter to the self-serve coffee, while waiting for the cooks to announce our number so we could pick up the meal at the kitchen window. When they called our number it was to tell me then ran out of bagels, then they called me back to let me know they found a bag of them. The short wait was worth it, as the sandwiches were fresh, hot, and delicious. Our two sandwiches and two coffees totaled about $14, not too expensive for a tourist town!

The Bunnery is famous for making most of its breads and cookies daily on the premises.
