Bubba Burgers Tips (5)

Bubba's Burger: Claimed to be the best burger in town, but not!

Had a burger, pepsi, frings (fries and onion rings). Not that great. The burger was better than McDonalds but not better than Carl's Jr. I think our very own In and Out Burgers in SoCal are much better!

Favorite Dish Did not have one. But I did buy a tank top because it said Kauai on it.

Bubba's Burgers: We dream of these Burgers!

We have eaten at both Bubba's Burgers in Kauai and our favorite is in Hanalei. The atmoshphere for us was so much more relaxed and the pretty little square with the quaint shops was beautiful. We enjoyed our meal outside on their deck and people watched as we ate our favorite hamburgers!

Favorite Dish Cheeseburger, Fries and pop! The basics!

Bubba's Burgers: Fun junk food!!

Bubba's Burgers is a fun place to get your greasy food fix. They have great burgers (although a bit small for the price) & yummy "frings." There are all kinds of goofy bumper stickers on the wall and my favorite..."Bubba refuses to serve any burger costing less than a can of dog food" above the grill. There are also many framed pictures hanging on the wall of famous people who have visited Bubba's. I got a good closeup of Bill Clinton with the staff in Hanalei...ironically...he was there exactly one year to the day before we were there.

Favorite Dish Teriyaki burger with frings.

Bubba's Burgers: Kauai's Best Burger Joint

The man who took our order here told me that Bubba's Burgers is the smallest burger chain in America. With only two restaurants on Kauai and one on the Big Island, I don't see how they could be any smaller and still be a chain. This is a laid-back funky place which serves decent burgers at a good price. Their tongue-in-cheek motto is "We cheat tourists, drunks and attorneys," so if you're ever going to "be a traveler, not a tourist" this is the place to do it. From our table at Bubba's in Kapaa we could see across the highway to the Kapaa Beach Park, and a group of local young people playing vollyball. As the sun went down behind us a full moon came up over the Pacific. Good times, good feelings, good food.

Bubba Burgers: Yummy Burgers

Good burgers - kind of a place you just have to stop at if your on Kauai.

Favorite Dish Cheese burger & Frings. Yum! It seems that everywhere you go on this island, there's a restaraunt for burgers. Might as well go to one that has got personality!
