French Quarter Longboard Excursion
"The meeting spot will be the fountain next to the river walk entrance. Once everyone in the group has arrived safety equipment and a longboard will be issued to each member of the group. Once everyone is comfortable with their gear 15 minutes of lessons and safety guidelines will begin. As soon as each member of the group is comfortable to begin we take off. The city sports a long paved promenade along the Missippi River in the French Quarter. This walk extends from the French market area to the Riverwalk mall. There are other sporadic areas of walks along the river such as by Chalmette battlefield.
