Jillian's Tips (3)

Jillian's: Booze, Bowling & Billiards...

Jillian's is a one of a kind place for me, and our recent trips back to Boston have included trips to Jillian's with my boyfriends sister and her boyfriend. The great thing about Jillian's is you can go and soak up the bar scene or head upstairs to play some pool or snag a lane for some glow in the dark bowling. It's become something we really enjoy doing together - having some drinks, playing a game of pool and then taking over a bowling lane and competing to see whose the best. It's not your typically sloppy fall over kind of the night at the bar - but you can definitely enjoy some nice drinks in a lounge like setting while playing games. Brings you back to being a kid... with the exception of all of the alochol. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a different kind of night out.

Dress Code Since the bowling lanes in Jillian's are owned by Lucky Strike, it's more of a lounge atmosphere. One thing I remember for sure is they don't allow hats in the place - so if you're heading there for a night out, be sure to leave your baseball cap at home boys!
Also no athletic wear, sleeveless t-shirts (for the guys), or construction, work or Timberland style boots!

Jillian's: Pool et al.

Jillian's Boston, part of the nation-wide chain, is located behind Fenway Park in one of Boston's main nightclub districts. Its 70K square feet, spread over 3 floors, has pool tables, high- and low--tech games, racing simulators, several bars, video screens, a dance floor, and lots of young and cool people. If you need a break from the clubs down the block, this is the place to come to relax and watch people.
