Luggage and bags: Might want to consider a sled dog team...
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: By all means PLEASE bring warm winter attire. I don't mean a lined leather jacket. Bring a down filled winter coat, mittens, scarf and hat or earmuffs. Snow pants aren't even a bad idea! Snow boots are a must!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: If you are driving make sure you have an emergency kit in the trunk with a shovel, sand or kitty litter (to throw under tires if you are stuck on ice or snow), reflectors, a flashlight and space blankets incase of car trouble!
Photo Equipment: Again, not much here of interest.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Warm clothing as stated above...
Miscellaneous: Ice Fishing Equipment for Lake Erie. Teardrop jigs and a bit of worm or grub do the trick.

Luggage and bags: Garbage Bags, Suitcase, Backpack, whatever you have...
Clothing/Shoes/Weather Gear: Our weather is "like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're gonna get"!
Even in the summer, you are wise to bring a light jacket, an umbrella and a few pairs of slacks or jeans. There are days it is very windy, and lately it has rained almost daily. On the reverse note, be sure to bring a few tank tops and pairs of shorts, it could get as hot as 100 and we have 50%+ humidity here!
Toiletries and Medical Supplies: Mosquito and Tick repellent if you plan on spending alot of time outdoors
Photo Equipment: As a photographer, I warn you, there isn't much of interest here... But any type of point and shoot or basic SLR will do.
Camping/Beach/Outdoor Gear: Beach? What's that? We have a lake shore that is shut down once a year for bacteria about 15 miles away, does that count?
There is a campground in Monroe, about 20 mins from Flat Rock.
Miscellaneous: Fishing Gear- Lite action or Fly rod for the Huron River. There is a bait shop right at the park!
