I thought some of the surfaces we walked on were very slippery, so make sure your shoes have good traction. There were wet stones, wet wooden boards and also some freshly fallen snow. The gorge is quite deep and you want to be very sure of your step.
The hike to the top is only about 2 miles, but it's mostly uphill. So be sure to stretch well first, especially if you had been sitting in the car admiring scenery all day like we were :)
