Restaurant Saul Tips (1)

Restaurant Saul: My absolute FAVORITE restaurant in Brooklyn

If you can imagine a five-star restaurant with some of the most innovative and wonderful American food, service that meets every need (whether you're aware of it or not), a home-y but stylish decor but you still won't feel like you'll be admonished if you use the wrong fork, then Restaurant Saul is the place.

Even their menus are beautiful, with a different photo on them every week. The staff is well-schooled in the art of gourmet dining and serving, but there's NO attitude or pretense. It's Manhattan dining with a Smith Street (Brooklyn) atmosphere.

For a romantic night, Saul is the only choice!

Favorite Dish For a great value, get the prix fixe- one example was roasted fig and goat cheese mixed green (watercress, mesclun) salad, crispy duck confit and pine-nut tart. They also give you little samplers from the kitchen, like pumpkin soup (currently a fave).
