    Fall Fun

by heitzenrater Updated Dec 7, 2006

    2.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Fall has some great views on the slops. Ride up to the top to see what the area's all about.
If you are looking for a family change of pace, Then you are in the right area.

    So things you can do in the summer are;
Golf - The 18 hole, par 72 course winds around ponds and through the trees at the base of the ski slopes.

Enjoy the Health Restaurant - It has great views of the golf course and is open for lunches and dinners. McCarty Cafe serves Starbucks Coffee and hearty golfer's lunches at the turn.

Visit the Inn - It's located in the middle of the golf course and features an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, sauna, fitness room and massage therapy.

Hike - All of Holiday Valley's trails are open to hiking and mountain biking, except those that cross the golf course. The mountain bike trails connect to NYS Forest land where there are many miles of logging roads and single track maintained by WNYMBA.

Operation hours. The golf course is open, weather permitting, from early April through the end of October. The pools are open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. The mountain bike trails are always open, depending on your appetite for mud!

    Pool Admission
    Adults $6/adult
    Adults After 5:00pm $3/adult
    Child (Ages 5-18) $4/child
    Child (Ages 4 & under) $2/ child

Make sure you go up the ski slope and see the tops of the trees in fall. It is well worth it. (Take the ski lifit if you are lazy. It's cheep, only like 2-7 bucks round trip.)

    Holiday Valley Skiing

by ClassyGirl Written May 20, 2004

I am not an avid skiier - have only skiied 3 times in my life, but I think the skiing at Holiday Valley is very good and would recommend it. I have skiied here twice. I don't know a lot about skiing, but I know that they have everything ranging from cross-country to double diamond.

    Their website is very informative.

  • Dina's: Yum

by Sasie Written Aug 16, 2007

Oh we liked Dina's. So much so that we ate there 4 or 5 times in three days. That's gotta be love. Fresh food. Nice combinations. Beautiful desserts. The pizza was amazing. I am actually sad that I missed breakfast at Dina's. There's always a next time.
