The Wendell Austin Forge company created this huge buggy for who-knows-why!
It is about 10 feet tall and 13 feet long and weighs more than a half-ton.
Good for a couple of quick pictures and that is about it. (there are also great bakeries and cheese places in Berlin)
the location of the company is at: 7007 route 62 (near route 39).
you can take self-guided tours of the company where the buggy is on display.

Although Lehman's is not in Holmes County, it is in the neighboring county of Wayne in the town called Kidron. This is a famous place, and after visiting it, I can see why. It's an old-fashioned general store that's served the local Amish for two generations. They have cast iron cookware, unusual hand tools, non-electric lighting, kitchen gadgets, gas refrigerators, old-fashioned ice cream makers, copper kettles, butter churns, hand-turned grain mills, oil lamps and woodstoves.
Their literature reads that it is "what your great-great grandparents' idea of a department store" is.
Lehman's was built in 1915 and only a 30' x 40' general store & garage. Today, Lehman's covers an entire acre under one roof!
They also have post cards, Amish candy, children's toys, and other small items.
I purchased Amish popcorn, chocolate-covered peanuts, and Licorice for my husband, Allan. I bought myself some "Black-Jack" Gum!
Located on Holmes CR216/Wayne CR52 in Kidron, Ohio.
Jill and I had such fun in this store; I think that you will, too.j
