Via Via Tips (2)

Via Via: Suprisingly, very good pizza

Via Via is a very good pizza place here on Thames Street with a wide range of overn brick oven pizza, pasta, soup, salads and sandwiches.

Ferni and I were getting ready to leave Newport and decide to stop here and grab a late lunch. As you enter the pizzashop the counter is all the way in the back with tables before you get to the counter on either side. There is a large board with the menu above the counter and you place your order and wait to be called.

Favorite Dish I had a slice of pepperoni pizza, while Ferni ordered two regular slices. The slices where quite large and yummy. Ferni had an orage soda, I had a pepsi. The slices were about $2.75 for the pepperoni and $2 for the plain.

Via Via: Egyptian Pizzeria

Most people in town directed our family to this casual pizzeria. It looked like a casual pizzeria in the tourist area. They have an extensive menu, from gourmet pizza's, salads, pastas, Middle Eastern Food, and even seafood. Counter people were friendly, food was made to order and relatively quickl. Several rooms had decent tables. It got very crowded around 1:00. They only accept cash & have an ATM

Favorite Dish The falafal was made to order & surprisingly delicous. My family enjoyed their pizza.
