The restaurant features two large painted murals on one of its wall. One of them depicts John Wilkes Booth tending bar and Jesse James about to shoot a bear. John Wilkes Booth (alias John St. Helen) apparently confessed his entire sordid past to the Gordon family on his deathbed and even disclosed where he hid the murder weapon. The Gordon family still apparently have the gun which is said to have nearly split the United States apart for the second time in less than a decade.

This small but legendary restaurant, serves a good selection of super sandwiches, grilled sandwiches, hamburgers as well as a selection of salads. For breakfast they have omelettes, eggs/ham/bacon, blueberry pancakes and French toast as well as a buffet on Sundays. There are also daily specials which are served with vegetables, rolls and dessert.
