My son is currently working on his Eagle rank, so this was a definite stop on our DFW excursion. Even if you are not involved in Boy Scouts in any way, this museum is worth a visit. The Norman Rockwell gallery is wonderful and the museum itself is similiar to an Epcot attraction. They recommend 3-4 hours to be able to interacte with all of the exhibits, games, films, etc. , but just spending an hour here and you will walk away knowing all there is to scouting. My son has been through Cub Scouts, and now almost near his Eagle rank, and even he walked away feeling like he relived his Cub Scout years and learned more about what was to come!

The people that volunteer there are so wonderful!! Make sure, if you take your son, to have him shake the talons of the brings good luck that they will obtain their Eagle rank. Also, make sure to stop by the Scout Shop (they have everything you need!)

Directions: take the exit before the toll road (from your directions) and continue through the business district, you will see a green and beige building with the BSA logo.
