    In 1770 the Ruins of Convento was completed. On the ground floor was various storerooms, while on the first level is where the missionaries lived.

    During the 1850’s the mission had an attempt at reconstruction by German Benedictines but they managed to destroy much of the original structure. No further attempts have been made.

    Directions: You will need a map since this park is spread over about 800 acres. The Alamo is a good place to begin. Check the website.
