Forest Oaks Community Park
Sandy and I got up early in the morning and took a walk in the Forest Oaks Community Park.
There was hardly anyone there, and the weather was still nippy (it was December after all).
We took the trail circling the lake, which has nice views of the park, the lake and the nearby residences.
Everything was so peaceful, so serene...
This park is an excellent place to relax or get some exercise when you are in Spring.Related to:

Spring Historical Museum
At the front of Old Town Spring is the Historical Marker Pavillion and the Spring Historical Museum. It doesn't look like much but they have lots of neat artifacts that are interesting to see and great for children.
They have original documents, pictures and artifacts of the 19th century when the town of Spring was growing by the railroad. Most of the schools are named for influential families and they have all the pictures of those families so it was neat to see the original people of the schools that I attended.
Admission is FREE but donations are appreciated.

Then you can do what I would recommend... get the cheap seats, a blanket, some food, drinks, and your friends and have a picnic on the hill! This, in my opinion is the best "seat" in the house. Everyone just sprawled all over the place with elbow room to dance, or whatever. It still sounds great out here, and if it is good weather, then this is THE place to be!
P.S. I had to jump the fence for this one too. The things I do for my VT'ers!Add to your Trip Planner
