La Tomate Bistro Restaurant. Tips (2)

La Tomate: Pasta with a view ...

A wonderful Italian trattoria with plenty of windows as well as an outdoor terrace in warmer weather so you can watch the world go by on Connecticut Ave.

Favorite Dish We've eatten here several times and I've never had a bad meal. There are various areas in the restaurant -- but again I've enjoyed upstairs [where the waiter actually sold me the shirt off his back ;)] and downstairs near the windows.

La Tomate Bistro Restaurant.: Dupont Circle Crowd

This place has been here for years and I have wanted to go here for years so I finally stopped in but only for a glass of wine. I will make it a point to eat here the next time I am in Washington. I liked the atmosphere.

Until I eat here I cannot give it a great experience rating.
