Seatac airport offers the most competative fares for air travel in the Pacific Northwest. I've found prices to be about 25% less expensive than from PDX (Portland) or hometown Eugene. The inconvenience is the drive to the airport, in our case, five hours from Eugene. But it is possible to get direct flights to Europe and London, in particular, on British Air.
There seem to be hundreds of hotels and parking facilities around the airport. The main terminal houses checkin and baggage claim. Four concourses and North and South Satellite terminals are accessable by underground train with service every few minutes. The North Satellite is well appointed with food and travel services. Shuttle services and bus and taxi transportation are available under the parking structure across from the main terminal. Use the website below for all pertinate information about the airport and services.
