YANGON's BETTER ACCOMMODATION
The best thing about this hotel is its wifi service (although with a minimal fee of $2 per hour) available at the lobby. Or if you do not have your own laptop you may use its internet service at the Business Center, same cost. Understand that not many hotels in Myanmar offer internet service.
Excellent service in its food outlets like the coffee shop and its bar with attendants always on hand for whatever one needs.
Unique Quality: Its most outstanding feature is its magnificent view of the Swedagon from its deluxe rooms which I fortunately got in both stays I had with this hotel.

Excellent value
Situated within a walking distance from Shwedagon Pagoda, Summit Pukview Hotel is a big (almost 170 rooms) private Hotel under foreign managment, well maintained and certainly belonging to upper class hotels. But for 29$ (!!, booked through Myanmartourex travel agency) for a double including a hearty buffet breakfast it was an absolute luxury for me (as I am used to more budget solutions). A spacious excellent lobby, swimming pool, beauty salons, fluffy beds, helpful friendly personnel just to memntion a few positives. It's also very popular for wedding receptions therefore interesting to take a glimpse of local social life. Overall strongly recommended.

Recommend the Hotel I Stayed
I like the location of the hotel, a little distance from the hustle and bustle downtown but convenient to go anywhere. In addition, it's within walking distance to Shwedagon Paya, my princess in Yangon. I cannot be bored visiting it day and night, day and night... US$30 (booking through a local agency) is more than acceptable considering the very good quality on all aspects.
Unique Quality: Good variaties of breakfast. A lot of rooms with the view of Shwedagon Paya.
