Keep away from this one

This hotel could be one of the best in Lhasa but it seems management is allowing it to run down. Lights not turned on, broken lightglobes not being fixed, leaking toilets power failures were all part of our experience in the rooms (we stayed there twice for two separate parts of our trip).
The hotel guide book in the room says there is a Chinese Restuarant and a Tibetan Restaurant - forget it, the Chinese Restaurant doesn't exist and the food and service in the Tibetan Restaurant is terrible. The book also says there is a business centre - again ignore this - it is never open and there is no internet service anywhere in the hotel (because it seems to have been cut off (and is not being fixed).
Nobody speaks any reasonable level of English (which is usually fine but you are likely to experience problems staying there so it makes things even more difficult and frustrating).

Unique Quality: Close to the main tourist market areas.
