Few International airlines have started flying into Bangalore like Lufthansa, Malaysian Airlines & Air India comes in from few places like Singapore, KL, Gulf countries etc. However, it is very well connected to Delhi & Mumbai by air/rail (longer journeys by train). Also, it is just an overnight bus journey from Goa & Hyderabad.
Do not ever use the local buses, Autorickshaws are cheap compared to Delhi so that is a good option.
