Where it all began...
When visiting Belur, the old guide was very proud to remind us that the Kama Sutra was written in India and the knowledge transmitted throughout the generation...
Then he showed me this sculpture on a part of the temple...

A day in the life of a street craftswoman

coming to the point- m from delhi, i have my summer internship in bangalore in electronic city starting this may. i was wondering wot is the best place i can get accomodation in, best in terms of reasonable price, and safety. Also since i will be on my own i wud prefer sharing my room with other gals so that cooking n rest of the things can be taken care of.
now that u have wasted ur time in reading my question y not spend another few minutes answering it...
thankssss
There are lots of acco options in B'lore and you'll not much difficulty.
You can choose from hostels, PG acco, room/flat sharing..renting your own (this can be expensive)
For short term, PG & Hostels are the best bet..and they are plenty of them in each localities, I'm sure there will be many in & near Electronic city.
Good way to start will be picking up the Free Ads and AdMag. I think you can see it online too...
Hello GAlllll!!!!!
Welcome to the Garden City. I am also working in Electronic City, with HP. If you will ask, me how is Electronic City, not a good place to stay. It's an industrial area. I suggest you to choose Koramangala, one of the best happening place in banglalore, which is around 10 KM away from Electronic City. You will get a hell load of PG opportunities that too with food. In koramangala, you will get all kind of food, including Mexican, chinese, Malay food. A good PG with food will cost you some where around 3,000. All ATMs, food joints, brand show rooms are there in Koramangala.
If you do have any doubts, please feel free to get back to me in sherith.othayoth@hp.com
Regards
Sherith

Took a jeep safari deep into the jungle - karnataka / india / bandipur is the location
saw elephants, one wild dog which everyone says is rare - bloody thing looked like the mangy mutts roaming around anywhere in India and lots of live and one dead bison
but the area was beautiful - mountains full of trees .
there are 2 lovely places to stay there - the jungle hut and the jungle retreat -
saw a wild elephant on the road who wasnt very pleased to see us so trumpeted -
and we scared the life of one small hare who poor chap was trying to cross the road close to where we stayed - it saw our car and scooted into the undergrowth - we took a bend and saw the same hare trying to cross the road again but on the opposite side of the field - which coincidentally was next to the bend we took -
i havent seen an animal look so dazed and zapped as that poor hare - he just left us 20 seconds ago and here we were again -
and he met us again the next day - same spot same car - i think hes in therapy now
my nemesis and fellow traveller
he has questions for everything under the planet
i know i wil be beaten up for this introduction but hey wtf
