Haveli Inn Pal

We had 3 really good days at this hotel. The rooms are a good size, the beds are comfortable, and everything was fresh and clean. The staff were friendly, and the service good. Although the rooms are fairly basic, we found that they were very adequate for our needs. The bathroom was a good size, with the cutest little bath-tub I have ever seen.
There was no lack of hot water or electricity, a problem that occurs in many hotels in India.
Our room had a perfect view of Meherangarh Fort.
The proximity to the Fort is a big plus. Its about a 15 minute walk (steep nearer the fort)

Unique Quality: I loved the antique wooden bed that we had in our room-beautifully carved woodwork. The tiled marble floors were always shining and clean. Restuarant on rooftop had a wonderful view of the Fort, and the food was very well presented, and tasty.We ate most of our meals here.
And of course, the cute little bath-tub. There also was a shower.All in all, this is a really nice hotel-small, but well run, friendly and tastefully furnished.

Directions: Very near Clock Tower, in same block as Hotel Haveli Pal (which is a different hotelwith similar name)

Again a very nice haveli in the "blue city" of Jodhpur.The hotel is at walking distance from the colourful clock-tower "sadar" market.The rooms are comfortable and some of them have typical Indian forniture, as wooden, carved beds.

Unique Quality: from the roof-garden offers a great view of the Meherangarh fort and view on Gulab sagar lake.
