Portopia Hotel, Kobe, Japan - Reviews and Hotel Information

Portopia Hotel is so flash! I went there for a Seminar and was put up in the hotel as a buisness trip, so I was very lucky! You pay a lot for this place, so you get all the great service/facilities you want. Most of the staff speak very good English, and there is a Portopia bus that takes you free from the Hotel to the main train station in Kobe and vice-versa. Otherwise, the hotel is linked onto the Monorail and you can very easily catch it into the city to try out the restaurants and bars.

The hotel is luxurious! Large, comfortable beds, snuggly duvets and pillows, air-conditioning, spacious rooms, shower and bathtub, bathrobe, towels, slippers, newspapers in the morning, big flat-screen tv that you can swivel to watch in bed.. oh yeah... my idea of luxury. there's also an indoor and outdoor pool, Japanese and Chinese restaurant, and bar, and cafe.

I do believe you can call up for a massage or a manicure if you feel so inclined.
