 | Ibis Bregenz Hotel: Comfortable, convenient place to stay

I stayed at the Ibis for the 2007 Festival because it was the only hotel of reasonable price which still had rooms on all the nights I wanted. Most Ibises are much of a muchness, but this is the best I've stayed in - good location near the railway and bus stations, nice big room, comfortable pine framed bed, huge breakfast to start off the day, and a really friendly, helpful team (unlike the insolent, impersonal soansos in one British Ibis I could name). No local colour but a convenient, comfortable, reliable place to stay. Only a couple of minutes' walk. Close to the centre of town and all transport links.
