Great hotel in the heart of Paris
by TripAdvisor Member GHansenIceland
This was my first time in Paris since I was 11 years old. I was very happy to find a hotel that was in the middle of Paris and that was not so expensive. The localisation of Hotel Acacias Etoile is great, only 5 minutes walk to the Arc de Triumph and not to forget the staff which was very friendly and helpful. Some of you might say that this is the way it is supposed to be but let me tell you it does not always seem to be granted. I definately recommend Hotel Acaias Etoile and will definately be visiting it again.
A fabulous place to enjoy Paris

An excellent place to stay. Visiting Paris is such a romantic experience and a hotel like Acacias Etoile helps any couple to enjoy the best of the city. Very quiet, romantic and big (or small) enough to live for a week or two.
Excellent value - great for business

I travel over 180 days per year on business staying in hotels all over the world. Rarely have I found a hotel in Paris that I liked. The Acacias Etoile was excellent.
First of all, the staff were friendly and helpful. Secondly, the rooms were nice - plenty of space to work (for a Paris hotel), very clean, and spacious bathroom with shower. Thirdly, the location is great for business or pleasure. Parking is a little tough but the parking garage is not too far away and is a short walk. Lastly, the Acacias Etoile has free internet via cable in the rooms and has wireless on the ground level. By principal, I hate having to pay separately for internet.
I was lucky to find this hotel with little notice. I recommend booking well in advance. For sure, I'll be staying here again.
Good value and friendly staff

Stayed at Hotel Acacias Etoile a few weeks ago during a business trip to Paris. Loved the location, in a more residential area of Paris compared to the normal tourist/shopping districts around the Opera. There were plenty of nice restaurants in the vicinity, walking distance to Palais de Congress and Arc de Triumph. Also several shops only a 5-minute walk away.
Hotel in itself was well maintained, good standard and value for a 3 star hotel in Paris. Rooms on the smallish side, but you find that with most hotels in Paris. Staff very welcoming and friendly.
I would stay there again when in Paris.
Fantastic hotel - great location
by TripAdvisor Member Soph27
This was our first time to Paris and it won't be the last! The hotel is located in a fabulous location, just moments away from the Arc de Triompe and Champs Elyseé. There is a SNCF and a RER train station just a couple of minutes walk from the hotel but we would recommend walking - you see so much more of this beautiful city. The hotel staff were faultless, polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, the bathroom was spotless and smelt clean too. The shower was amazing, just what you needed to relax after a fun packed day of site-seeing! I admit the room is compact but it has everything you need, a comfy bed, tv and safety deposit box. This hotel is a fantastic base for your break away in this romantic city. We found some lovely restaurants just 10 minutes walk away from the hotel (turn left out of the hotel) out of the tourist lime light and where the locals eat, a definate must. If you are thinking of going to Paris consider this hotel, you won't be disappointed!
My favourite hotel in Paris

I travel to Paris regularly for work, and this hotel is now my first choice of a place to stay in the city. It is very affordable, the staff is impeccably polite and helpful, the rooms are comfortable, and the location can't be beat!
Good Hotel and location
by TripAdvisor Member Healeyguy
The Acacias is a well run hotel. It has a modern minimalist style renovation inside of a typical Paris town house. The bathrooms are particularly well done. The staff are very helpful.
The location is excellant , just 5 minutes from the Arc de Triomphe. I used to live in this area. ( the south 17th arrondissement) and I always really liked it. The area has a real parisian feel and relatively few tourists. Avenue des Ternes and the streets off it, have lots of real shops and restaurants used daily by the locals. There is also the famous street market at Rue Poncelet just off Place des Ternes.

Fantastic

Overall a fantastic value for money hotel with superb service. Excellent location near to metro and Arc de Triomphe but down a quiet side street so no noise in your room. Still there are plenty of bars, restaurants and shops within a 5 minute walk. Rooms are not large so recommend spending the extra and getting a club room but these are still excellent value for the location and quality.
Excellent value

We stayed at the hotel for a weekend, and were very impressed with the decor and cleanliness. We did request Club rooms which are slightly more expensive; although they were still compact, but for Paris, one would expect this. There were a couple of very friendly bars on the doorstep, and the busy Champs Elysees is only a step away, but far more pricey. The red tour bus stops about a five minute walk away and was very good value for seeing the city.
This hotel would be chosen and re-booked should I return to Paris.
Great Location, Great Staff

Nothing very fancy but still very impressed. Staff couldnt help enough, great location and very clean! perfect for a weekend away in Paris if not looking for anything very extrafagant! plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Stayed in a hotel is Paris March 2006, cost twice as much, room very similar and location wasnt half as good. This hotel gets a definate recommendation.
