what more do you really need?
I stayed at the FIAP with a group from my college. The rooms are dorm style, with private baths in each room. These are no-frills accomodations- a bed, a desk, a chair, and some shelves and wardrobe. Bunkbeds in some rooms. Rooms are made up daily by housekeeping, who change sheets and towels every couple of days of an extended stay.
The one annoying thing is that the showers are turned on by a push button, that has to be pushed many times during the course of a shower.
I don't know if we paid to have meals included, or if it comes as 'standard' with the room, but there is an on-site cafeteria. The food is decent, with a variety to choose from, so if you want to save money eat there.
THere is on-site laundry, disco (mostly for teenagers), Internet access, and bar.
Unique Quality: The FIAP is very popular with school-age groups, so be prepared for large groups of semi-supervised children. We were surrounded by loud Scottish kids in yellow hats ( that seemed to follow us through the city!) Even though I dislike kids ALOT, I could deal with this place just fine.
I figure it this way: I am in Paris to see the city, not my hotel room.

Accommodations in Paris
My friend and I are going to be staying in Paris in late September. We are looking for a fun clean hostel in the Latin Quarter. We are also looking for a place that has private rooms. We do not need a bathroom in the room just a bed or two. We also would like a place that has good security as we are two 21 year old girls. It doesnt have to be anything special just clean. Thanks

The FIAP is not in the Quartier Latin but realy close to it (2 metro stations or a couple of stops with bus n° 21), a good adress I think for 2 girls.
