well typical two stars paris hotel smallist rooms, and nice bathroom, with five floors, we were on the 5th but the views were the building acroos rue de provence.
Still in renovation but ours was brand new and easy in and out. no breakfast as was been renovated the room but no problems we always eat out. We had an incident of given electronci keys to another couple who almost entered into our room, we file protest with the tourist office and the police for invasion of privacy.
the staff was helpful and did their utmost; very centrally located behind the dept stores just at rue de provence corner with rue chaussee d antin. and metro
we pay avg 99€ per night ok for the area but not for the amenities that were small and lacking seriousness of front office
Unique Quality: nice location central to all, and grocery store Franprix right at chaussee d antin street
Directions: metro chaussee d'antin just around the corner from the galerie lafayette, behind the store.
My stay at Hotel Antin Trinite was a delight. The staff was very nice, and glad to help anytime they could. They didn't mind giving directions or helping with any problems that I had. I went with a group of other students and the staff was patient with us. The rooms were nice, they were surpisingly roomy for a Paris hotel. Everything was clean and I was very comfortable. The breakfast was also really nice, with items such as hot chocolate, fresh fruit, bread, and cereal.
Unique Quality: The location of Hotel Antin Trinite is great. It is located right near the Galeries Lafayette for anyone who enjoys shopping, but it is also near many of the sights, especially the Opéra. Walking to the Place de la Madeleine or the Avenue des Champs Elysées (more shopping!) is not out of the question. The Chaussée d'Antin metro is right around the corner, and that can get you almost anywhere you want in Paris! All of this was very convient.
Directions: Down the street and around the corner from the Chaussée d'Antin metro on Rue de Provence.
Hotel Antin Trinite is a budget (emphasis on this word please!) choice in the city.
It has the usual services like babysitting and dry cleaning/laundry etc. which is fair enough, but the only truely good things about this hotel IMHO was the breakfast (was yummy and fresh, albeit served by a rather abrupt lady with a constant scowl..)... and the location was great... close to Primtemps and the Opera area.
Unique Quality: Well, a very unique quality was the holes in our linen and blankets - cigarette burn holes! A first for us in any accommodation we have ever stayed in, and not a very pleasant one.
It also stank of cigarette smoke the whole week we were there, so I dont think the fans and vents work very well.
We definately wouldnt book there again.
Directions: 74, Rue De Provence, Paris
The Opera Area
Has anyone been to this hotel since the awfull fire next door a couple of weeks ago. We will be staying there in 2 weeks and I was wandering if everything was OK for my hotel.
