where to stay with kids

by utsieako

Hello VT!
We'll be a mixed group with children travelling to Paris by the first week of June. We're hoping to take in the Louvre, enjoy Euro Disney, and take the Red Bus city tour. Any recommendations on budget hostels that are child friendly, clean, and safe to get to at night?
Looking forward to your advice!
Thanks!

Try the Hotel Crimee, http://www.hotelcrimeeparis.com it is a nice 2 stars hotel with large rooms for children. It is not really central hotel but prices are really good for Paris. It is a really clean hotel and located in a calm area. It is well connected by transport, of course, there is a metro station nearby. It is the ideal for budget holidays.
I hope you will enjoy Paris

Hotel this week-end

by Robin922

Looks like I might get to come to Paris for the week end.
Could use some suggestions on a place to say. While I think of myself as a flexible person there is a few things I require from a hotel:

Private bathroom (shower OK)
Air would be nice, but not a must.
Clean and safe!!
Very easy to get to from airport(CDG) shuttle would be nice, and public transportation to the sights of Paris.
Informal, traveling light jeans only.
Willing to speak English. I only know 2 words of French.

Not a must, but near a market. I'm an antique junkie.

Of course cheaper is better. ;-)

Try laterooms.com which offers last minute rooms available at some nice hotels and in the locations you describe. Try the 5th through 7th districts if/when you search.

ACCOMODATION

by WAYNEMET

Hi me and my partner are stopping over in Paris for one night on the 31st of July and again passing back through on the 12th of August returning to Australia. We are travelling to Denmark to compete in the World Triathlon Championships. We will have a hire car when we arrive. We wish to stay somewhere nice and tidy in Paris so we can spend a day looking around and then travel towards Belgium the next day. We don't want to spend a fortune though and were thinking of a bed and breakfast or similar. Can anyone recommend a placed for maybe under 100 Euros or thereabouts that would be nice to stay (own facilities) and not share room. Thanks wayne.

Hi, There are heaps of hotels in Paris for less than E100 per night - try Ibis - think its www.ibishotels.com - I use them. You can book online. They are basic and clean and will generally rush you 50-80 per night per room. There are plenty of others - try the guide pages here. None of the hotels will have car parking though - at least with any space left.
Don't drive in Paris if you can avoid it - take the metro.

Have a look at Hotel Crimee a nice and very very clean hotel near metro stop Crimee. It is a 2 star hotel with very nice staff. There is a metro stop just near, metro line 7, that is going directly to Gare du Nord, Chatelet-Les Halles, Latin Quarter and so on...
You can see it on http://www.hotelcrimeeparis.com
Have a nice trip!
