Good Value Good Location
Accommodations were very nice. Our room was large by European standards and the staff was very helpful in guiding us on routes to take, etc. Our room was cleaned every day, thoroughly. I think our room was one of the largest. I did see some of the others and they were smaller. The staff were always helpful, especially Michael, who went out of his way to be helpful. The breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, croissants, toast, cold thinly sliced ham, cereal and canned fruit. It was reasonably good, but after a few days, we were tired of it. I would recommend the hotel again.

has anyone stayed or been to the Lautrec Opera in the 9th arrondissement in Paris? Is it a nice hotel? what is there to do in the area? any nice restaurants? shops? The address is 8-10 Rue D'amboise!

I would not know about the quality of the rooms, but the location is great; first you're in one of the city centres (there are more in Paris) close to many areas (Opera, Place Vendome, Grands Boulevards); then it' s close to the metro: you can go everywhere else;
The area has a quite busy night life, without being too noisy, or too crowded.
I think you should go for it.
