Its a nice small frinedly hotel, in the center of the Latin Quarter and still quiet. so its a great Location and walking distance to many of the tourist attractions.
The room was quite Small but okay...Paris... that was my second experience in Paris and knowing Most Europe avarage hotels i was not surprised.
Directions: Metro station St. Michel, et cluny La Sorbonne
This might be a silly question - I was trying to figure out how to get to my hotel (Le Home Latin on rue de Sommerard) from CDG via RER. I can see it going to St. Michel - is the rue de Sommerard close enough for me to walk it from there? Or is it better to take the metro? I will bemaking this trip in the morning (9am).
Except if your suitcase is heavy it is easy and quick to go from your hotel to St Michel Station.
From the door of your hotel, go right to Rue St Jacques, then turn right, turn left rue st Germain (right walkway). At the crossroad with Blvd St Michel, near the McDo, turn right (walk on the right walkway), at place st Michel there is the station on the foot path you will be.
Time : 15 mn, more if your luggage is heavy. The station has an internal escalator.
Have a good stay.
Thanks a ton!
