A well-equipped, clean, comfortable hotel, in a quiet street about 250m from the Arc de Triomphe. Friendly, helpful staff (English spoken). Air-conditioning (vital in summertime Paris), satellite TV, individual safes, WiFi, lift, hair-dryer (and, unusually, a face-cloth in the ensuite bathroom, which impressed my wife!). Our bedroom, like others we peeped into as they were being cleaned, looked recently (and tastefully) decorated.
We had the "family room". OK with the standard double and one single bed but tight with the extra bed. We managed with two under-ten year-olds but wouldn't find it easy with older ones. Choose you breakfast timing carefully - there are only three tables in the lovely little breakfast room. (Not sure whether they buy their bread from the super pastry shop next door but it's good).
Unique Quality: Easy access: Metro/Buses line 2 at Place des Ternes, lines 1, 2 & 6 at place Charles de Gaulle Étoile (Arc de Triomphe); Air France bus place Ch de Gaulle. Parking nearby.
See above for more about its qualities.
Directions: From Arc de Triomphe down ave Mac Mahon, just before junction with av des Ternes, rue des Acacias is on the left. The hotel is right next to patisserie, just left of the brasserie on the corner.
