La Defense
by AndyRG
This modern arch was built by a Danish architect in 1989 and it is so big that even Notre-Dame can be inside it!
La Defense houses an exhibition centre. It is usually a... meeting point for the thousands employees who work at the nearby modern buildings.

XVIII Arr: aimer c'est du désordre
by Elisabcn
So let’s love! , says the painting. This 40square metres fresco at the centre of Jean rictus square has the words “I love you” written in 311 languages (picture 2) . Try to find your language, or maybe use an exotic language for you to say “I love you” to your beloved partner, friends or family. I was about to make a complaint to the Major of Paris because I did not find Catalan! But at the end I saw that Catalan was also there (picture 3) :-) :-) :-)
Parc de Monceau
by TexasDave
Created in 1778 when this area was well outside the city limits, this park is used and enjoyed primarily by Parisians, not tourists. The main entrance on the North side is an old Toll House, one of only 4 which still stand. It is full of whimsical architectural follies, such as a pyramid, colonnade, rock garden.
