A reasonable Hotel in Paris

Best (5.0 of 5.0 stars)
by written on May 1, 2013

When you visit Europe, the first thing to look for is a hotel near a Metro station since one has to walk a lot. I found this hotel very close to many places, especially in this lovely Paris. The service was good and staff was very cooperative. The hotel’s location is an added advantage as it is near to many famous restaurants plus it is easy to catch a metro since it is nearby. It is not very fancy, therefore they do not charge you a lot of room fee. But it is good that if one is looking for a budget hotel then it is the best option available in Paris especially when you are travelling with friends.

Unique Quality: Good rates plus cooperative staff

A Home Away from Home

I booked at this hotel because of its ratings at Trip Advisor. Since the beginning of my booking, it was at ease to be booking thru them. Emails were answered promptly about my question on arrivals and all.
I chose this hotel because of its location. It was a swift 10 minute walk to the "Grand Magasins" and the shopping areas plus it has 3 metro stops in its vicinity.
We arrived at the hotel before midnight thru taxi and my key was prepared as I checked-in in less than 2 minutes. Walked a few stairs to get to the elevator, small but efficient. Entered the room at the 4th floor and it was a cozy hotel. It was a hotel that you'd want to be in. Bed was perfect even the sheets were crisp. It's a small room but very well maximized. There was also a free WIFI thru-out the hotel which was rare in Paris.
Chitchatting with the owner during my check-out, I realized how well they managed the hotel for the past 23 years. Keep up the good work and more power! I'll definitely see you soon.

Unique Quality: Free Wifi

Lodging for Less than 100 Euros !!!

by written on April 23, 2006

Postives:
- good location. Not too far from metro, residential area
- lots of restaurants close by (local ones, not tourist traps)
- close to supermarkets, markets and laundrette
- friendly and helpful staff who can speak many languages
- excellent cleanliness and good service from chamber-maid
- balcony out to street
- good value
- recently installed air-conditioning
- 100% non-smoking

This is a small hotel without many fancy services, but well run, safe, somewhat stylish, and convenient.

Compared to the other hotels in Paris, this is a bargain.
It is close to a nice park and convenient to transportation.
You can walk to some sights, but slightly out of the main tourist area, which can be a plus.
Laundromat and small grocer across the street.

Unique Quality: Rates:

Single Room ~ Shower/toilet: 82 Euros
Single or Double Room ~ Shower/toilet: 99 Euros
Single or Double Room ~ Bath/toilet: 105 Euros
