Overpriced hostel!!

I went here because it was in the Guardian's list of 10 best hostels in the world - it's so not!! It was extremely exepensive for a hostel, 80euro a night for two people (we were staying in a double room not a dorm), but it was more expensive than a lot of hotels, and it wasn't worth it at all. It is decorated really nicely, and it's in a pretty good location, but that's about all the plus points - the room was tiny, with no place to put our backpacks, and the water pressure in the shower and taps was a trickle. Additionally, you can't chekc in until 4pm, which i think is pretty late, and they lock you out of your rooms for FIVE HOURS in the middle of the day to clean... on arrival we were treated unbelievably rudely, presented with an A4 list of rules, and they didn't tell us we couldn't check in until after they'd taken our money... basically, if you're going to spend that much money just go to a hotel where they treat you like an adult!

Unique Quality: To be fair, it had very nice wallpaper indeed, but i don't think that really justifies the price!!it was like sleeping in a stripy shoebox...
